With the rise of Asian hate attacks everywhere, I wanted to do a Solidarity Run for the 8 lives taken in Atlanta. I asked my best friend, Kirsten, if she’d like to run with me and of course she supported me full heartedly. She said “we can run 8miles for the 8lives taken”. And, with that thought I expanded our hearts to reach out to my fellow runners everywhere to join virtually or run with me. NBC Chicago Today heard what I was doing and interviewed me in support to help spread the word to Stop Asian Hate…and that’s how it all started my dear friends.
